Job Summary:
The Sales Assistant plays a vital role in the daily operations of the store and is responsible for achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. You will be expected to perform all duties in alignment with ECCO’s brand values, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
As a key member of the retail team, you will demonstrate sales leadership by actively engaging customers on the sales floor and supporting the team in delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales:
- Provide professional advice and guidance on ECCO products and their usage.
- Identify customer needs through effective questioning and active listening.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements.
- Offer advice on the care and maintenance of ECCO leather products.
- Perform link-selling by recommending complementary products such as shoe care items and leather goods.
- Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service to enhance store performance.
- Attend to customer inquiries, feedback, and after-sales services.
- Close sales effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
Store Operations:
- Collaborate with the Area Supervisor to implement ECCO standards and operational practices.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory.
- Provide feedback to the Merchandising team regarding inventory needs.
- Handle customer returns, feedback, and after-sales issues in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with ECCO’s retail operations and service guidelines.
- Assist with product displays, window changes, and basic visual merchandising tasks.
- Support stock replenishment and keep track of inventory movements including sales, transfers, and returns.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to the Area Supervisor promptly.
Team Collaboration:
- Share insights, feedback, and best practices with the team to enhance performance.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and mutual respect.
- Listen actively and contribute constructively to team discussions.
- Help build team cohesiveness and promote a collaborative work culture.
Sales Performance:
- Work towards achieving the store’s sales goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Support the preparation and submission of sales reports to management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
