Job Scope:
1. Building Quality Monitoring (Pre-Handover Phase)
- Monitor and assess the quality of construction by the main contractor before unit handover to the developer.
- Conduct daily inspections and update progress and defect status in a designated group report.
- Follow up on rectification work by the main contractor to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.
2. Reporting & Analysis
- Create bar charts summarizing defects identified during inspections, supported by photographic evidence.
- Analyze defects to evaluate the quality of work by the main contractor.
- Provide constructive feedback to the project department, highlighting areas needing improvement.
- Recommend areas for research and development related to Construction methods, housing design, material selection
3. Unit Handover to Purchasers
- Coordinate and execute the handover of unit keys to purchasers after Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) is obtained.
4. Post-Handover Defect Management
- Liaise with purchasers and the main contractor regarding post-handover defect reports.
- Track and update the status of rectification work in daily reports.
- Ensure that all reported defects are addressed and resolved within 30 days from the date of report
Job Requirement:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in property development, construction, or QA/QC roles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
