Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible QA & QC Inspector to ensure that all food products meet established safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and reporting any deviations from quality specifications in a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and document critical control points (CCPs) and ensure HACCP and GMP standards are followed.
- Conduct visual, physical, and chemical tests (e.g., temperature, weight, pH, moisture) according to quality procedures.
- Identify and report non-conformities or deviations in production processes or final products.
- Work closely with production staff to address and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate and timely quality control records, logs, and inspection reports.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits and certifications (e.g., ISO, BRC, FSSC).
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and shelf-life checks of finished products.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance and food safety.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
- Experience in QA/QC roles within a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO standards).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work in a factory/production environment and do shift work if required.
