- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
- Issue and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and budget requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and other departments to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, production) to understand material needs and lead times.
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
