- Assist in sourcing suppliers for raw materials
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) based on production requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases and pricing.
- Communicate with suppliers to follow up on deliveries and resolve any issues or delays.
- Maintain good relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply.
- Obtain quotations and perform basic price comparisons.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and production team to monitor stock levels.
- Help forecast purchasing needs to avoid material shortages or overstocking.
- Update the system with goods received and match with POs/invoices.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of procurement records.
- Assist in preparing reports for procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Handle data entry in the procurement or ERP system.
- Track and confirm order deliveries and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or accounts.
- Support in monthly closing and reporting tasks.
