Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Assist in providing technical support to employees or clients by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Work with senior IT staff to resolve technical problems and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Document issues and solutions for future reference in the IT helpdesk system.
System and Network Administration:
Support the administration of the company’s network infrastructure, servers, and workstations.
Assist in monitoring system performance, security, and functionality to ensure optimal operation.
Help maintain and update the company’s software and hardware inventory, ensuring all equipment is up-to-date and properly functioning.
Software Development & Implementation:
Work alongside the software development team to assist with coding, debugging, and testing software applications.
Contribute to the development of internal tools and applications to improve efficiency.
Help with the implementation and integration of new software systems or updates.
Cybersecurity Support:
Assist in the implementation of security protocols and best practices to protect sensitive company data.
Help monitor security systems, identify potential vulnerabilities, and take corrective actions under the guidance of senior IT professionals.
Stay informed of cybersecurity trends and assist in the company’s efforts to safeguard its network.
Database Management & Data Entry:
Support the maintenance of databases by assisting with data entry, updates, and management.
Assist in database queries, backups, and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity and security.
Documentation & Reporting:
Assist in documenting IT procedures, system configurations, and network setups.
Help prepare reports on system performance, IT incidents, or project status for management review.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that align with business goals and requirements.
Assist with training and supporting end-users on new technologies or IT processes.
Project Assistance:
Support IT-related projects, including system upgrades, new technology deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
Participate in project meetings, providing feedback and assisting with project tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or similar capacity
- Organized, proactive, analytical, and able to work indepedently or collaboratively.
- Strong knowledge in PC hardware, Microsoft OS/macOS, network fundamentals, and IT asset management.
- Familiarity with IT security concepts and tools.
