A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Production Manager, you plan and control manufacturing and warehouse processes so that products are delivered on time and within budget. Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while building high-performance production teams. Own end-to-end assembly processes, resource optimization, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Overlook production planning, production assembly and warehouse functions.
- Responsible for Productivity, Efficiency, Inventory and “on time delivery” metrics.
- Responsible for headcount budgeting and resources capacity planning.
- Responsible for the selection and training of new operators.
- Ensures plant performance is aligned with company goals and targets.
- Works collaboratively to review and facilitate the launch of new products into production.
- Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
- Participate and sponsor continuous improvement projects in production and warehouse.
- Supervise and motivate team.
Skills You Bring:
- B.S. or M.S. Degree in Engineering, with related experience in production management.
- Analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions.
- Prior knowledge in LEAN manufacturing processes.
- Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.
- The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems.
- The capacity to grasp complex concepts easily.
- Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
- The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team and managers.
- The ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines.
- A results-driven approach to work.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings/blueprints, specifications, bill of materials and CAD files.
- Proficient in using ERP systems.
- The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner
