Responsibilities:
1. Canvassing, comparing, and evaluating vendors and suppliers and purchase offers.
2. Corresponding and negotiating with vendors for optimal prices.
3. Creating and updating vendor and supplier databases.
4. Coordinating tasks of the purchasing department.
5. Ensuring compliance to deadlines, budgets and quality of goods.
6. Aligning purchasing activities with government standards and regulations.
7. Reporting budget expenditure and purchasing analysis to management.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Candidate must possess Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical /&Eelectrical Engineering.
2. Required Language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
3. Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers is an added advantage.
4. Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, preferred working experience in construction industry.
5. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Words is a MUST.
6. Sound knowledge in packaging / raw material inventory.
7. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
8. Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
9. Possess positive attitude, self-motivated and self-discipline.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
