Job Summary – Procurement Officer
Ensures employer obtains quality products for competitive prices in a timely given. Plays an integral role in ensuring a company sticks to budgets and operates profitably.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
- Direct procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints
- Identify and source new suppliers and vendors
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements
- Work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements
- Facilitate timely placement of purchase orders
- Review purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance with organizational policy and procedure.
- File data and related information, maintain and update databases.
- Support procurement departments with administration work
- Follow instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by your Head of Department.
Education and Experience
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Materials Management or related field
- Welcome Fresh Graduates with or without experience, training will be provided.
- working knowledge of all laws and regulations relating to procurement and contract
- Good command of English and Malay with acceptable communication writing skills
- Required skills: Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
- high competency level in MS Office applications
- ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
