Objectives of the Position
- Responsible to assist for batch card revision, P&ID Optimization and Yearly Review.
- Responsible to assist for Process Safety related documentation & STATURE.
- Responsible to assist for MOC attachment from Process Safety aspects.
- Responsible for Process troubleshooting and assistance.
- Responsible for Visual Management of Plant.
Main Tasks
Related to Process Management
- Assist Process Manager to provide the required operating data for the selection of appropriate equipment such as mixers, homogenizers, and storage tanks.
- Assist Process Manager to create and modify process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to reflect the operational setup.
- Assist Process Manager to analyse existing data to optimize the formulation and processing parameters, such as temperature, pressure, mixing speed, and ingredient ratios.
- Assist Process Manager to analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for yield improvement.
- Assist Process Manager about any new product transfer or improvement.
Related for EHS
- Ensure that all processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards, particularly regarding the handling of chemicals and potential hazards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to minimize risks in the production environment.
- Conduct SHE Review and others safety improvement initiatives
Related for Maintenance
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software or Microsoft Visio.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of documents related to Maintenance.
- Manage and track document submission and records.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
- Relevant experience in process engineering, specifically in the production of emulsions or similar products, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to understand polymerization processes is an advantage
- Strong fundamentals in engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Able to work overtime as required.
