Job Description:
- Attend to and resolve various hostel maintenance issues (e.g. leakages, door/lock replacements, basic electrical problems)
- Coordinate repair and servicing works for hostels occupied by foreign workers
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for necessary repairs
- Maintain a record of maintenance work done and outstanding issues
- Ensure safety and habitability standards are met at all hostels
- Respond to urgent repair requests and follow up until resolution
Job Requirements:
- Must have own car
- At least 1 year of experience in maintenance
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently
- Able to travel between hostel locations (own transport is an advantage)
- Able to communicate in basic English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Willing to be on-call for emergency maintenance issues
- Willing to relocate is a plus!
