About the role
As a Midwife (Bidang Sakit Puan & Bersalin) at HOSPITAL BERSALIN DAN POLIKLINIK PUSRAWI KOTA DAMANASARA, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to women during pregnancy, labour, and the postpartum period. This full-time role is based in Kota Damansara, Selangor.
What you'll be doing
- Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
- Assist in normal and assisted deliveries, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor using appropriate assessment tools.
- Administer medications and interventions as per medical protocols and under supervision.
- Educate and counsel patients on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and nursing staff to provide holistic care.
- Ensure a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach in all patient interactions.
What we're looking for
- Diploma in Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia).
- Previous experience in maternity care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Working Hours:
- 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM,
- 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
