Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant / Clinic Assistant supports physicians and healthcare professionals by performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient care. This role requires a compassionate attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Prepare examination rooms and assist during patient exams.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens (blood, urine, swabs).
- Administer medications or injections as directed by the physician.
- Maintain medical equipment and ensure cleanliness and sterilization.
- Educate patients on procedures, medications, and aftercare.
Administrative Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic calendars.
- Register patients and update medical records accurately.
- Handle billing, insurance claims, and payment collection.
- Maintain inventory of medical and office supplies.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
