ACE Education is seeking passionate and experienced Part-Time Mathematics Tutors to join our dynamic team. We are looking for individuals who can teach Mathematics to students from various academic backgrounds, including IGCSE, A-Level, and IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme).
The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching techniques, and the ability to inspire students to develop problem-solving skills and achieve academic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with IGCSE, A-Level, or IBDP syllabus.
- Tailor teaching methods according to students’ learning needs and academic goals.
- Provide academic support for assignments, exam preparation, and challenging mathematical concepts.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain communication with students and/or parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Conduct either physical classes, online sessions, or home tuition based on student preference and your availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or teaching certification is a plus).
- Prior experience teaching IGCSE / A-Level / IB Mathematics is required.
- Strong knowledge in algebra, calculus, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Reliable internet connection and suitable teaching setup (for online classes).
- Flexible, punctual, and committed to helping students succeed.
- Able to work weekday evenings or weekends based on student schedule.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with exam boards such as Cambridge (CAIE), Edexcel, and IB.
- Experience in one-on-one tutoring or small group sessions.
- Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach.
