We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager with expertise in the EMS Industries to drive new business penetration, expand customer networks, and increase sales revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, market expansion, and new client acquisition, with a proven ability to secure payments and build long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Penetration
- Identify and target new business opportunities in the EMS Industries
- Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and acquire new customers.
- Conduct market research to assess competition, industry trends, and potential growth areas.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, cold outreach, and networking.
2. Industry Knowledge (EMS)
- Leverage technical and commercial knowledge of EMS related products.
- Understand customer pain points and position company solutions effectively.
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and key players.
3. Building New Customer Network
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., procurement managers, engineering heads, C-level executives).
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand business connections.
- Market Segmentation and Targeting New Customers for Business Development
4. Sales Revenue Growth
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving new and repeat business.
- Develop pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals profitably.
- Work closely with technical teams to align customer needs with product offerings.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
5. Receipt of Payment from Customers
- Ensure timely collections by following up on invoices and payment schedules.
- Resolve payment disputes and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Implement credit control measures to minimize overdue accounts.
Additional Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and present business proposals, RFQs, and tenders.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance) to ensure smooth order execution.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Maintain CRM records and track sales performance metrics.
Required Competencies & Skills
- Sales & Negotiation: Strong ability to persuade, negotiate, and close deals.
- Market Research & Analysis: Ability to identify trends and opportunities.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of EMS products.
- Networking & Relationship Building: Proven ability to engage high-level stakeholders.
- Financial Acumen: Experience in managing receivables and profitability.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Motivation: Driven to achieve targets with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years in B2B sales/business development in EMS industries.
- Proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Experience in international markets (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
