Job Description:
This individual is an important member of a team that help us deliver on our mission by warehousing activities, import shipments, local deliveries, and invoice processing.
This position reports into the Logistics Supervisor and is given an opportunity to develop new skills and overcome obstacles each day in a fast-paced environment. As a Logistics Planner, you will be working very closely with the Manufacturing site team, regional customer service team, supply team, demand team, accounts payable team and 3rd Party logistics service providers.
A day in the life of a Logistics Planner is fast-paced and highly variable based on import and export volumes. This is an individual contributor role tasked with warehouse management, order executions, quality management as well as managing internal stakeholders.
As a Logistics Planner you will:
- Runs SAP transactions for imports and local deliveries
- Co-ordinates booking confirmation with freight forwarder, warehouse operator to Customer Service Representative
- Co-ordinates with warehouse operator on customer requirements to prepare products for container stuffing.
- Co-ordinates with warehouse operator and freight forwarder to ensure shipping documents for export declaration in accordance with local authority.
- Co-ordinates with site on daily plant transfers to warehouse operator to execute drumming off finished products to fulfill export orders.
- Arranging with warehouse operator to draw samples for laboratory tests for drummed off products, short expiry products, etc.
- Ensure that imports/exports & samples comply with CWC regulations.
- To run and publish Aging Report to optimize holding inventory of aging products.
- Complete export shipments or local deliveries procedures for the fulfilment of company target with efficiency and cost competitiveness.
- Ensures timely and accurate month end reporting of transportation i.e., ocean freight, local trucking cost, isotank rates and logistics cost.
- Responsible for monthly stock reconciliation and cycle count
- Invoices Management (Review of all Suppliers Invoices, Good receipt invoices in SAP and ARIBA Portal, Analyse invoiced activities to set up appropriate conditions in SAP)
- Continuously improve methodology for data analytics and modeling
- Collaborate with teammates, support personnel, and stakeholders to evaluate
- Balance rapidly shifting priorities through multitasking and flexibility

What skills and experiences are we looking for?
University degree or above, preferably major in Chemical/ Trade
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in export activities, chemical industry is a plus
DG cargo handling, products to be managed would be IBC, drums, palletized containers and isotanks
SAP and ARIBA
Vendor Performance Management
Indent sales order management, SOX Order to Cash management, Incoterms
High sense of responsibility, proactive attitude and independent, good interpersonal skills, communications skills, good English writing & speaking
Year end, quarter end, month end activities required
Able to speak and write mandarin
