Job Description
- Alignment with planners on forecast volume, trend and planning on overall supply chain strategy.
- Coordinate on daily shipment including mode of transport request/change, criticality and cost.
- Data collection, consolidation and sharing include daily and monthly on time delivery shipment report.
- Special booking and hyper care on expedite/I-STAR/ad-hoc shipment including weekend support or beyond the working hours.
- Coordinate with planners on I-Star reimbursement claim status on weekly basis till closure.
- Coordinate with export control team for I-Star audit by quarterly basis.
- Digitalization on I-Star dashboard.
- Support customer’s daily requirement on logistics request, spot quote, delta cost, reporting, rate and billing clarifications.
- Coordinate and optimize shipment, capacity, timing, forecast planning, inventory available to plan for loading and invoice to meet the cut off time.
- Shipment support on packaging change, samples and machines transfer.
- Tender support, feedback on the LSP performance include cost saving initiatives.
- Consolidate and update inventory in transit and accrual to logistics team during year end.
- Sourcing, negotiating transportation rates/contracts and managing the selection of the transport providers based on budget include invoice verification.
- Allocation of volume among LSPs for optimization and resolve bottleneck in capacity issue.
- CIP to achieve process efficiency and cost savings.
- Quarterly meeting with customer, procurement and network team to discuss on LSPs performance, allocation and other arising issues.
- Alignment with Shipping on LSP allocation, expedite shipment arrangement and provide clear instruction on critical materials’ shipments arrangement (delay, pull in and reschedule)
- LSP’s monthly business review via KPI performance management include operational deviations, root cause analysis and PDCA for improvement.
- New LSP onboarding for new route or transport modes change implementation.
- LSP claim management.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., customs, import/export laws, safety regulations) including applying for exemption list, license renewable, special application, CoO or any trades compliance related topic (FTA etc).
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Logistics, have some knowledge in Warehouse and Custom.
- Familiar with Transportation Freight Management in Manufacturing background.
- Experience in transport planning and coordination would be of great advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations.
- Preference with SAP knowledge.
- Ability to support beyond working hours subject to business needs.
- Flexibility to be based partially at Robert Bosch (M) Sdn Bhd, PgP1 and Robert Bosch Semiconductor (M) Sdn Bhd, PgP5 on weekly basis based on business needs.
- Strong personality with high integrity and leadership experience.
- Support any other tasks, back up outside of normal responsibilities from time to time when needed
