SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manages matters related to Malaysian Customs import and export requirement, plans, organizes, and deliveries to 3PL warehouse /customers (outbound) are performed and executed smoothly.

Assure that all shipping orders are completed and shipping is made on-time to satisfy customer requirements. Keep up with all paper work and documentation on the daily basis of all shipping and receiving, and assure posting of all activities into MECURY SYSTEM

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

· Plan-organize-monitor all shipping activities, outbound from/to suppliers and customers.

· To liaise-manage all transactional and operational matters with the Vendor/3PL, ensuring compliance to both statutory and in-company import and export requirements and policies

· To ensure all shipping document are processed and completed timely to customer requirements (CIPL,BL,SI, DO, etc)

· To manage administrative and documentation requirement of job and ensuring proper postings into prevailing systems

· Provide Truck Planning to 3PL warehouse/Customer

· Monitor and ensure ALL FREIGHT billing and invoicing for customer and vendors are billed in a timely manner and pass to Finance department

· Obtain and seek approval from DOA the invoice on timely basis.

· Monitor and ensure timely closing for all job files with complete supporting document ( DO, POD, etc)

· Create NPUR for Trucking Vendor for reimbursement process to Finance Team

· Create Appendix of Trucking data to Finance Team

· Create Delivery Order for Shipment

· Request for costing if necessary

· Liaising with vendors for truck booking

· Monitor and follow up on COD invoice collections

· Provide support to finance team for outstanding and overdue payment (accrual).

· Arrange and ensure on-time vendor payment ( GST ,etc)

· Communicate with vendors/forwarder

· Any other related job assigned from time to time, in accordance business needs / legal requirements

· Comply / ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.

· Other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

· Minimum diploma or equivalent

Experience:

· Have some working knowledge / exposure in shipping, logistics, import-export, customs liaison, and related experience.

Knowledge/Skills:

· Understanding of computer software packages, i.e. Windows, Database.

· Good Communication skills.

· Flexible attitude to work methods and practices.

· Be able to work overtime when required.

· Able to work on own initiative.

· Have legible handwriting.

· Must have a methodical and practical approach to work.

· Must be a team player.

. Able come to work as soon as possible and without service notice period to current employer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
