The Licensing Executive ensures the nursing home operates in full compliance with regulatory statutes by managing licensing applications and renewals, coordinating inspections and audits, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing proactive guidance on evolving regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process applications, renewals, and amendments for necessary licenses and permits from the Ministry of Health (MOH), local councils, Bomba, etc.
- Stay updated on relevant healthcare laws, licensing regulations, and inspection protocols.
- Maintain and monitor licensing documentation, ensuring timely renewals.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies during audits or inspections.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, operations, nursing to ensure compliance across the facility.
- Support development of policies and procedures that align with licensing requirements.
- Prepare and submit compliance or regulatory reports as necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Legal Studies, or similar.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in licensing, compliance, or regulatory roles preferably in healthcare or aged care.
- Familiarity with MOH requirements and local council regulations.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
