Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team to deliver efficient logistics and warehousing support with accurate, error-free inventory control.
- Drive a customer-centric approach by doing "whatever it takes" to meet or exceed customer expectations, in alignment with the company’s Quality Policy.
- Oversee import/export and warehousing functions, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.
- Design and implement effective storage and inventory systems to optimize space and efficiency.
- Establish and enforce procedures to comply with import/export regulations and enable fast customs clearance.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to stay informed on emerging logistics and regulatory trends.
- Implement freight cost control measures to monitor and manage delivery costs for both finished goods and raw materials.
- Plan and coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Participate in and support cost control and quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop team capabilities to adapt to future logistics and industry trends.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
- Promote continual improvement and apply risk-based thinking in planning and task execution.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and relevant codes.
- Uphold safety, ESD, cleanroom, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistic Management or its equivalents with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years at supervisory level in an electronics high volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of air freighting procedures.
- Indepth understanding of customs/MIDA regulations.
Skills
- Communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Articulate with good communications skills and ability to interact with all levels.
