As a Junior SAP ABAP Developer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in supporting and developing ABAP programs, with a specific focus on Fiori applications within the S/4 Hana environment. - Assist in the development and maintenance of ABAP programs to support business processes, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Learn and apply Fiori design principles to customize and enhance user interfaces, contributing to improved user experience and system efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support testing efforts by assisting in the identification and resolution of defects and issues in developed solutions. Participate in ongoing support activities, including troubleshooting and debugging of SAP systems.
- Stay updated on SAP technologies and best practices, actively seeking opportunities for learning and skill enhancement.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives to promote efficient collaboration and knowledge transfer within the team.
- Actively participate in training programs and mentorship opportunities provided by the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with exposure to Fiori and S/4 Hana preferred or SAP ECC6 (with ABAP 740 and above).
- Basic understanding of ABAP programming language and development concepts.
- Have knowledge in ABAP workbench (ABAP objects, Data Dictionary, ALV/SALV, Dialog Programming, Modification).
- Experience in newer ABAP abstracts such as CDS, OData, PDF forms, and S/4 Hana related experience will be an added advantage.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, with a strong interest in SAP technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. SAP certification(s) or relevant training courses are a plus.
