Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Japanese language lessons (beginner to advanced levels).
- Teach Japanese language skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Incorporate Japanese culture, history, and traditions into lessons where relevant.
- Use various teaching methods, materials, and technology to enhance student learning.
- Assess, evaluate, and provide feedback on students’ progress and performance.
Curriculum & Academic Duties
- Assist in designing, reviewing, and updating the Japanese language curriculum.
- Develop teaching materials, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Ensure lessons meet the institution’s academic standards and accreditation requirements.
Student Support & Mentoring
- Provide academic guidance and language learning support to students.
- Organize and supervise co-curricular activities related to Japanese language and culture (e.g., speech contests, cultural workshops, exchange programs).
- Advise students on further studies, career opportunities, and scholarships related to Japanese language.
Administrative & Institutional Duties
- Maintain proper records of student attendance, results, and academic progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional events.
- Contribute to promotional activities (open days, student recruitment events).
Professional Development
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Japanese language teaching methodologies.
- Engage in research, training, and professional growth activities where possible.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 6 – 9 per week
