Job Scope:
- Provide on-site IT support to outlets and branches, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Set up, configure, and maintain POS systems, printers, barcode scanners, CCTV, routers, and other outlet IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi) at outlets.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, software updates, and system backups.
- Respond to IT support tickets and resolve issues promptly either remotely or on-site.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware servicing or warranty claims.
- Prepare simple reports and documentation of issues resolved or equipment changes.
- Support system rollout or IT setup for new outlets when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+/N+, MTCNA, etc.) are an added advantage.
Computer Knowledge Requirement:
- Proficient in Windows OS (desktop/laptop), Microsoft Office, and basic networking (LAN, IP configuration, routers).
- Experience in handling POS systems, CCTV software, and general troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer) and basic Windows Server environment.
Other Skills Requirement:
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with outlet staff and vendors.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel frequently between outlets and sites.
- Able to handle urgent support needs during weekends or off-hours when required.
