Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Project Management Analyst to support and oversee banking technology initiatives. The role requires managing project governance, monitoring progress, and providing analytical insights to ensure successful delivery of IT projects, including core banking enhancements, regulatory compliance initiatives, and digital transformation programs. The candidate will collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to drive efficient project execution and compliance with banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT project planning and execution by preparing project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies, and provide analytical insights to ensure timely delivery.
- Track project budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Prepare detailed project documentation including charters, business cases, risk logs, status reports, and executive dashboards.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for banking-related IT initiatives.
- Assist in managing vendor deliverables and service levels, ensuring alignment with banking IT standards.
- Oversee reporting on project performance, including KPIs, OKRs, and regulatory compliance metrics.
- Facilitate project meetings, Agile ceremonies, and governance reviews, ensuring proper documentation and follow-ups.
- Ensure all project activities comply with IT governance, security frameworks, and banking regulatory standards (BNM, AML/KYC, PCI-DSS, Basel III).
- Provide recommendations to improve project management practices, reporting efficiency, and delivery outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in IT project analysis, PMO support, or project coordination (banking/financial services preferred).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Familiarity with banking systems (Core Banking, Payments, Treasury, Risk & Compliance, Digital Banking).
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Clarity, Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and provide insights.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Preferred Certifications (advantageous):
- CAPM, PMP, or PRINCE2 (Project Management)
- ITIL Foundation (IT Service Management)
- Agile/Scrum Fundamentals or PMI-ACP
- Banking-related certifications (e.g., Compliance, Risk Management)

Pay: RM3,011.24 - RM8,457.41 per month
