We're looking for experienced IT Business Analysts to join our team and help bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, tech teams, and vendors to make sure our investment systems run smoothly and evolve effectively.
You’ll be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, helping to improve systems and processes, and supporting the team even after project go live. Identifying any gaps and making sure everything works as expected.
What You’ll Be Doing
Requirement Gathering & Documentation
- Work with business teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for system changes, enhancements, incidents, and service requests.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and structured documents like BRDs, specifications, and data mappings.
- Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and POCs.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the main contact between business users and the tech team.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and project managers.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment between all stakeholders.
Process Improvement
- Review current business processes and suggest improvements.
- Help implement better ways of working and create/update SOPs.
- Align with teams to build efficient target operating models.
Meeting & Communication
- Prepare agendas, take notes, and follow up on key decisions and action items.
- Lead or support regular review meetings and share key updates with stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, ideally in investment or financial systems.
Skills & Knowledge
- Solid understanding of investment processes (unit trust, fund management, etc.).
- Familiar with SDLC and business analysis methodologies.
- Comfortable working with SQL, Excel, and tools like Microsoft Visio and JIRA.
- Knowledge of BI tools, data warehousing, and data mapping is a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
