- Assist in measuring and estimating quantities for construction projects.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates and budgets.
- Assist in preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
- Participate in the procurement process and supplier negotiations.
- Support the administration of construction contracts, including monitoring progress and managing variations.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Help in tracking project costs and ensuring adherence to budgets.
- Assist in preparing interim and final valuations for projects.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in preparing site reports and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation and correspondence.
- Assist in preparing regular reports on project status and cost performance.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of construction methods and materials is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant software, e.g., AutoCAD is a plus.
