Job Scope:
- Conduct regular compliance checks to evaluate the organization's adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies (including internal control and organization’s SOP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to address compliance issues and mitigate risks.
- Stay up-to-date with internal policies changes and industry best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Monitor and track compliance-related activities, including audits, investigations, and corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to compliance activities and findings.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance monitoring tools and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure Shariah Compliance/Islamic terminology on management of Islamic products.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in any related field.
- Good knowledge in banking guideline and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to work as a team - player.
- Experience in handling external auditors will be an added advantage.
- Leadership capabilities to manage and gear the compliance department to next level.
