Purpose
Direct and steer effective marketing strategies and drive product optimization in achieving production economics and recommending commercialization of new products as well evaluation of potential cross-functional opportunities in ensuring alignment of growth plans and profit returns to the established corporate sustainable strategies.
Accountabilities
Strategic Development/ Business Strategy
- Responsible for driving top line growth to increase customer acquisition and retention.
- Lead, develop, formulate and implement strategic marketing strategies/ initiatives.
- Drive the development and use of functional tools/ processes to develop differentiation, targeting and positioning strategies
Marketing Plans
- Strategize on product, its positioning and markets’ penetration and growth through clearly defined vision, target and plans. Further translating and shape the divisional route-to-market strategies and the global marketing action plans.
- Leads the development, prioritization and cross-functional alignment with approved marketing plans and initiatives as well as establishing the competitive pricing strategy and mandates.
Business Portfolio Management
- Champion the defined business portfolio and solution strategy, responsible for diverse requirement of product line leader.
- Lead and drive the business portfolio performance in alignment with business' financial and commercial objectives.
- Undertake and facilitate ongoing review and monitoring of the effectiveness of initiatives & efforts implemented.
Product Optimization
- Lead and drive the integration and alignment of Plants production plans, business plans and budgets with the Company’s overall strategies, as well as supporting optimum allocation of resources.
- Play advisory role to manufacturing/production team in relation to the suitability of timing for turnaround or scheduled maintenance.
- Lead the successful commercialization of products to clients and provide marketing support to country office.
Contract & Sourcing Strategy and Performance
- Formulate, drive and control the contracting strategy for strategic raw materials and products and contract performance to ensure compliance and contractual obligation are being met.
- Lead and drive strategic sourcing of products under Product portfolio for complementing system volume and market growth.
Business Development/ Opportunity & Project Evaluation
- Lead and drive short & mid-term business opportunity/ networks with strategic partners, contract/ deal making and project implementation plan.
- Assess, lead and recommend preliminary strategic initiatives and projects throughout the value chain under the product business portfolio.
