Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP) Support
- Assist in entering supplier/vendor invoices into the accounting system (SQL)
- Match invoices with supporting documents according to the SOP
- Follow up with other departments for pending or incomplete documents
- Help prepare payment vouchers under supervision
- Maintain proper filing of payment vouchers and related documents
General Accounting
- Assist in data entry for journal entries and general ledger transactions
- Support the preparation of bank reconciliation reports
- Help compile supporting documents for external audit and tax agent
- Support the tracking and recording of fixed assets or prepaid expenses if applicable
Tax and Administrative Task
- Assist in compiling tax-related documents and summaries
- Support research on current tax practices or compliance matters (e.g., SST, WHT, income tax)
- Participate in finance projects, system updates or internal process improvements
- Assist with any additional duties assigned by the superior or finance team
Requirements
- Candidates must currently pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Must be disciplined, trustworthy and able to handle highly confidential matters and work independently.
- Sound knowledge in handling Google Sheets/Google Docs or Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with SQL Accounting Software (others can be considerable).
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
