Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in supervising the M&E works.
To assist Project Manager and contractor and ensure compliance to all project schedule and budgets and evaluate all associated equipment and workforce to meet all design requirements.
To assist Project Manager to provide an interface with design group and resolve all issues of contractor, evaluate and prepare reports.
Inspect and monitor the progress and quality of M&E works on construction sites to ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and relevant codes and standards
Maintain detailed records of site inspections, test results, and other relevant documentation
To monitor and implement all safety program for projects and for assign areas.
To submit weekly report to the Project Manager.
To obtain own timesheet approval from the client’s Site Representative.
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to address any issues or non-conformities and ensure timely rectification

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Inspector of Works or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on M&E works
Min Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent
Have BEM Registered - Inspector of Works (IOW)
Thorough understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations related to M&E systems
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other construction documents
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the successful delivery of projects

Location : Mranti, Bukit Jalil

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 23 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
