Job Description
Supervise Site Work: You will be overseeing all activities and operations happening on the construction site, ensuring that everything is proceeding according to the plan.
Monitor Workmanship, Quality, and Safety: Ensuring that the work is done to the required standards, checking the quality of work, and making sure safety protocols are followed, as outlined in the contract documents.
Perform Joint Measurements with the Contractor: You’ll collaborate with the contractor to take measurements and ensure everything aligns with the project specifications.
Inform Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) About Work Issues: If there are issues with the contractor’s work or if something isn’t up to standard, you will notify the Assistant Resident Engineer, who may direct the next course of action.
Carry Out Other Duties as Assigned by ARE: You might also be asked to handle additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the Assistant Resident Engineer.
Job Requirement
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years site supervision experiences.
- Experience in water resources, river, drainage, and flood mitigation projects will be prioritized an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in infra and earthwork are also encouraged to apply and will be considered.
- Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) – Civil Engineering
