Position Overview
The Human Resource Executive will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. This role involves handling recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and HR documentation while serving as a point of contact for staff on HR-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection
- Assist in job postings, screening candidates, arranging interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Support in maintaining candidate databases and talent pipelines
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Prepare and process monthly payroll in compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Administer employee benefits, allowances, and claims.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and other relevant labor regulations.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Provide support in handling disciplinary matters, grievances, and staff welfare initiatives.
- Assist in organizing staff engagement activities and training programmes.
Performance & Development
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal processes and staff development initiatives.
- Monitor probation, confirmation, and contract renewals.
General HR Administration
- Prepare HR reports, statistics, and analytics for management review.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling HR matters.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of HR experience (fresh graduates with strong HR internship exposure will be considered).
- Familiarity with Malaysian labour laws, HR best practices, and statutory compliance.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HR systems is an added advantage.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
