Key Responsibilities
· HSE Implementation: Assist in developing, enforcing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures for both onshore and offshore operations in line with client and regulatory requirements.
· Regulatory Compliance: Support the SHO in maintaining legal registers and ensuring full compliance with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, and local council regulations.
· Pre-Mobilization Checks: Conduct safety briefings and PPE inspections for project personnel prior to mobilization.
· Site Safety Oversight: Assist in enforcing safety protocols on work sites and ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times.
· Training & Induction: Participate in conducting HSE inductions and basic safety awareness sessions for new hires and contractors.
· Incident Reporting: Support the SHO in reporting and investigating incidents and near-misses. Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external reviews.
· Documentation & Record-Keeping: Help maintain HSE-related documents including HIRARC, SWP, inspection reports, and toolbox meeting records.
· Safety Campaigns & Events: Organize and support safety-related programs to foster a proactive safety culture among site and office personnel.
· Scheduled Waste Management: Assist in identifying, labeling, storing, and arranging for the proper disposal of scheduled waste generated from yard activities, ensuring compliance with DOE regulations.
· Monthly Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of monthly HSE performance reports for internal management and client submission.
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
· Valid DOSH-recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NIOSH or equivalent).
· Possession of valid CIDB and OGSP certifications is an added advantage.
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil & gas industry or related industrial environment.
· Good knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974, and other relevant Malaysian safety legislation.
· Familiar with offshore and confined space safety practices.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office for report writing and documentation.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
