Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Hospitality Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the hospitality industry, including customer service, event coordination, food and beverage management, and front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily operations of the hotel/restaurant, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage service, and guest relations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Support the preparation and organization of events and conferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in guest areas, dining spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Learn and perform administrative tasks such as managing bookings, checking in guests, and handling phone inquiries.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in managing inventory and stock levels for food and supplies.
- Help with marketing and promotional efforts, including social media and customer engagement.
- Attend training sessions to develop professional skills and knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Presentable, professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with hotel software is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
