Job Summary:
The Head of Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring that all food products, processes, and service standards across all outlets of Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus meet the company's strict quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role leads the QA department and works closely with operations, supply chain, R&D, and franchise partners to uphold and continuously improve product quality and consistency across the brand.
Key Responsibilities:Quality Management & Food Safety:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA systems and protocols in accordance with HACCP, GMP, and relevant food safety regulations.
- Oversee regular audits of production kitchens, outlets, and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and investigate quality issues; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of QA policies, inspection results, and compliance reports.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and manage the QA team across regions/franchise networks.
- Conduct training programs for QA staff and outlet teams on quality procedures, food safety, and hygiene.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Supplier & Raw Material Quality Assurance:
- Approve and monitor raw material suppliers, including periodic audits and performance evaluations.
- Set raw material specifications and ensure compliance through regular testing and inspections.
Franchise & Outlet Support:
- Work closely with operations and franchise management to ensure each outlet maintains food quality, preparation standards, and cleanliness.
- Develop QA manuals and SOPs for outlet use, including standard recipes and preparation procedures.
Product Consistency & Improvement:
- Collaborate with R&D to assess new products and process innovations before rollout.
- Monitor product feedback (from customers, franchisees, and internal teams) to identify improvement
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years in QA roles within the F&B or FMCG industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and local food safety regulations.
- Experience in multi-outlet or franchise environments preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Able to travel for audits and inspections.
