Job responsibilities
Customer Service
- To greet customers when entering and leaving establishment.
- To promptly answer and respond to phone calls and e-mails enquiry.
- To redirect phone calls or e-mails to the appropriate department or person if necessary.
- To inform patient of the various amenities available for them to use whilst they are awaiting.
- To maintain safe and clean reception and waiting area at all time by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- To be observant at the waiting area to ensure no long waiting time for patients.
Operation
- To understand the schedule of daily operations of the Dental Officers, Faculty and student flow and relay that information into arranging patient appointments.
- To book subsequent appointments for patients at the OHC whether by phone or in person.
- To register patient in the information system when they arrive at OHC
- To notify the Dental Surgery Assistant when patient arrives and are waiting to be seen.
- To organize and systemically file all the hardcopy of patient records.
- To call or send email reminders to patients and specialists of upcoming appointments.
- To count money at the end and beginning of each shift and manage the cash drawer to ensure full accuracy.
- To issue invoices and receipts to patients according to the treatment rendered.
- To receive payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers or panel claims.
- To compute and update daily transaction reports and to submit the total daily cash and credit card collection to Cashier Office.
- To assist in generating month end sales and collection report and to ensure it reconcile with total payments received from cash, credit cards, cashless claims and panel claims.
- To assist in generating month end statement for all panel claims.
- To assist in generating month end consignment sales report.
- To assist in maintaining the consignment stock inventory and to inform the manger when the stock runs low.
- To accept and keep accurate record of payment by patients
- To accept and keep record of work received and payments made to dental laboratories.
To perform any other functions as and when required by the management.
Job Requirements
- 2 years full-time experience in an industry involving regular dealings with customers and clientele (preferably in healthcare/dental field).
- Comprehensive knowledge on use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and other basic computer software.
- Demonstration of past job experience in accounts handling, record keeping and report writing.
- Fluency in English Language.
- Possess up-to-date computer skills.
- Positive, pleasant and approachable demeanour to work, staff and patients.
- Skillful at communicating fluently in English, effectively relaying information clearly and professionally to patients and health personnel.
- Integrity and accountability in handling cash payments and financial reports.
- All staff is expected to ensure quality when discharging their duties and responsibilities.
Note: Applicants must be willing to work at Bukit Jalil area, shift hours & weekend.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
