Objective:
To gain hands-on experience in floral design, customer interaction, and retail operations.
Responsibilities:
Floral Design:
- Assist in creating floral arrangements, bouquets, and displays.
- Learn and apply flower care techniques for longevity and presentation.
Customer Interaction:
- Help greet customers and understand their floral needs.
- Support customer service efforts by maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere.
Inventory Support:
- Assist in organizing flower supplies and stock.
- Help check and unpack floral deliveries for quality.
Sales and Order Preparation:
- Assist in packaging orders for in-store customers and delivery.
- Help maintain product displays and restock as needed.
Skill Development:
- Participate in training sessions on floral techniques and customer service.
- Shadow experienced florists to gain practical knowledge.
Workplace Cleanliness:
- Help keep work areas, tools, and supplies clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Passion for flowers and an interest in learning floral design.
- Ability to take instructions and work as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a creative touch.
- Physical ability to handle flowers and stand for extended periods.
Internship Duration:
6 months, based on academic requirements and availability.
