About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-commerce Team Leader to oversee our online sales operations. You will be responsible for leading a team of specialists to drive sales growth, enhance the online customer experience, and manage our presence across various e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopify). The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong analytical mind and a passion for digital commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of e-commerce executives and assistants.
- Delegate tasks, set clear KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Identify training needs and facilitate skill development for the team.
2. Platform & Sales Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our stores on major marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, etc.) and our own website.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase traffic, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and overall sales revenue.
- Manage product listings, ensuring they are optimized with high-quality images, compelling copy, and correct keywords for SEO.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns, sales, and promotions.
3. Campaign & Promotion Execution:
- Plan and manage participation in platform-led campaigns (e.g., 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, 12.12).
- Utilize platform marketing tools (e.g., Shopeepay, Lazada Wallet promotions, vouchers, ads) to boost visibility and sales.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide post-campaign reports with insights and recommendations.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key e-commerce metrics using platform dashboards and Google Analytics.
- Translate data into actionable insights to optimize product assortment, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
5. Customer Service & Order Fulfilment:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained, including managing customer queries and reviews promptly.
- Work closely with the logistics and warehouse team to ensure smooth order processing, shipment, and returns management.
- Maintain high seller ratings and performance standards on all platforms.
6. Inventory & Content Management:
- Collaborate with the procurement and planning team to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stock-outs.
- Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in e-commerce operations, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
- Must have hands-on experience managing stores on Shopee, Lazada, and/or TikTok Shop. Experience with Shopify or Magento is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in using e-commerce analytics tools and MS Office (especially Excel for data analysis).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
