- Anticipate dentist’s needs to be prepared for next steps.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Maintain proper patient records.
- Give pre & post-op instructions - within the limits designated by the dentist.
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to the patient.
- Turn on all units, switches and water before the patient sits down.
- Stock supplies in operatories, restrooms and lab as needed.
- Inform supervisor when supplies need to be re-ordered.
- Inform supervisor of broken or malfunctioning equipment.
- Perform all duties of steriliser when deemed necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of clinic.
- Create and update posts on social media
- Other duties as may arise from time to time, and as may be assigned to the employee.
