As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene are maintained. You will collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff to prepare, cook, and present dishes, while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as Chef de Partie.
- Experienced in a fine dining kitchen role and pastry skills.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
- A strong passion for cooking and a keen interest in developing culinary skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
- Culinary qualifications or relevant training are an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Responsibility
- Assisting Sous Chef managing the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations of the kitchen.
- Proficiency in pastries skills e.g., bread, pastries, cakes and desserts.
- To work with the kitchen team to control and monitor food costing in order to achieve targeted performance.
- To ensure and maintain the standard of food presentation, quality and food safety requirements.
- To ensure overall cleanliness of the kitchen area, all crockery and equipment.
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
