Job Description
The Cricut Creative Department is a multi-faceted team of dreamers and doers who bring the Cricut brand to life through exceptional creative content. This in-house team turns business strategy into visual reality with best-in-class, forward-thinking solutions that consider the full scope of consumer touchpoints. The team is comprised of four key areas: Design, Copy, Project Design, and Operations. Together, their work helps people lead creative lives.
The Creative Department’s Design Team is a highly-collaborative group of channel experts who amplify Marketing strategy and Concept’s look and feel through the design and delivery of content at scale. This team knows the purpose and nuance of every consumer touchpoint and ensures the visual expression of Cricut’s creative content is most relevant and impactful to our target audiences. Since they are accountable for final delivery of assets, they will lead optimization and redelivery of assets based on business needs.
We’re looking for a detail-driven and experienced Packaging Graphics Designer to join our growing creative team. This Malaysia-based role is focused primarily on the production and execution of packaging SKUs, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and legal compliance across all machines, materials, and accessories.
Packaging Production Design
- Execute high-volume packaging production work including working with dielines, implementing content updates, and ensuring all design files meet Cricut’s brand and quality standards
- Translate approved creative concepts into accurate, print-ready packaging files
- Ensure packaging files are legally compliant and visually consistent across regions and formats
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner closely with Cricut’s internal Creative team (US-based) to align on design direction, technical requirements, and content updates
- Communicate with cross-functional partners including Global Product Management, Legal, and Sourcing to implement packaging revisions and region-specific changes
File & Asset Management
- Upload and manage packaging assets through Cricut’s content management systems
- Maintain organized file structures, version control, and efficient handoff to vendors through Arena
Vendor Liaison & Press Checks
- Act as the local point of contact with packaging print vendors and suppliers throughout Asia
- Leverage existing relationships with print vendors Cricut already works with—or similar industry-standard partners—to streamline production processes
- Attend and support press checks, ensuring final printed materials meet color, quality, and material standards
Qualifications

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of professional experience specifically in packaging graphics production
- Proven experience creating and preparing packaging artwork for mass production, including working with dielines, regulatory copy, barcodes, and multilingual content
- Strong technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and InDesign
- Familiarity with various printing techniques and packaging substrates
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple packaging SKUs at once
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); comfortable working with an international team across time zones
- Hands-on experience using content management or digital asset systems
- Existing relationships with regional packaging vendors and suppliers is highly desirable
- Prior experience attending and evaluating press checks is strongly preferred
