Conference & Event Pre-Sales (Appointment Setter) is responsible for driving high-quality business opportunities for conferences and events through strategic pre-sales engagement. This role focuses on understanding client needs, shaping tailored solutions, developing proposals, and ensuring a smooth transition from prospecting to sales closure. The position requires a mix of consultative sales skills, event industry knowledge, and the ability to support the sales cycle from lead qualification to proposal presentation.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Pre-Sales to support our conference and event sales team. Your role is to connect with potential clients, understand their needs, Set up a schedule to ensure potential sponsor is in the meeting, and help the sales team close deals. You will work with sponsors, partners, and delegates to make sure our events deliver the right solutions for them.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to potential clients.
- Introduce our events and explain the benefits of attending, sponsoring, or partnering.
- Qualify leads to ensure they meet the target profile.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for the sales team.
- Keep accurate records of calls, leads, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Follow up with prospects to confirm meetings and maintain engagement.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of leads.
