Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and assess the impact of financial regulations on business operations and new product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, product, engineering) to implement and improve compliance programs
- Assist in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reporting and regulatory submissions when necessary
- Support the regulatory licensing application process
- Conduct compliance risk assessments, identify gaps, and support remediation efforts
- Develop, maintain, and track key compliance risk indicators (KRIs)
- Prepare and submit reports and presentations for internal management and external regulators
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate compliance documentation
- Develop training materials and conduct regular training sessions for employees and stakeholders on compliance topics
- Support government and regulatory relations to build strong partnerships with authorities
- Lead or support ad-hoc compliance projects aligned with regulatory standards and company policies
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in regulatory compliance or internal audit within a financial institution
- Candidates with experience working for a financial regulator will be given priority
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and goal-oriented
- Agile and adaptable to dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required
