What would be a day @ UDCXL look like:
· Develop a global transactions monitoring program to understand the risks that our Customers and their transactional activities presents to UDCXL wherever they may be
· Manage our transactions monitoring process, ensuring the effective monitoring of high-risk transactions and customer activities through a risk-based approach incorporated with data analytics, and surface any concerns or red flags to be actioned
· Own decision making regarding transactions based on, on-going monitoring reviews, summarise findings and determine appropriate risk; assessments should be data-driven and align with UDCXL’s risk tolerance and prevailing regulatory requirements
· Continuously improve our transactions monitoring practices and policies to enable effective management of customers’ risk
· Scale existing transaction monitoring controls to ensure Compliance controls continue to be effective across our Exchange product offering
· Design scalable processes and controls that allow for Compliance to best support new products and/or technologies, that could improve our customer experience, unlock growth, improve our operational processes
· Maintain our regulatory licences for Labuan:- (i) Regulatory reporting and Filing, (ii) Regulatory Liaison and (iii) Leading our audits
Qualities that might describe you:
· Minimum 8 years experience working in financial crime controls in a Cryptocurrency Exchange, FinTech, Payments firm, or Financial Institution
· Minimum 3 years experience executing MLRO responsibilities in Malaysia, ideally with a Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA) licensed Cryptocurrency Exchange, Financial Institution or Payments Service Provider. You have worked at, or with directly with the LFSA in various engagements
· Proven Compliance experience in APAC, with a strong understanding of Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requirements
· A natural owner that drives and delivers projects from inception to completion, timely and with attention to detail
· Proficient in blockchain analytics tools such as Merkle Science or Chainalysis is a plus. Experience in compliance screening and monitoring tools and applications such as Lexis Nexis, Sumsub is required
· Skilled in research, investigation and monitoring notations, specializing in forming risk assessments and compliance documentation

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM20,386.43 per month
