Summary
The Community Manager is responsible for building, engaging, and nurturing the brand’s online and offline communities. This role fosters meaningful relationships with customers, followers, and advocates, ensuring strong brand presence, customer engagement, and community growth.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Growth
- Develop and execute community strategies across social media, forums, and brand platforms.
- Engage with audiences by responding to comments, messages, and discussions in a timely manner.
- Moderate user-generated content and ensure community guidelines are followed.
- Organize online/offline events, meetups, and activities to strengthen community ties.
Content & Communication
- Collaborate with marketing to create engaging community-focused content.
- Identify trending topics and opportunities to spark conversations.
- Work with influencers, advocates, and ambassadors to amplify community reach.
Feedback & Insights
- Gather community feedback and share insights with internal teams (product, marketing, customer service).
- Track and analyze community engagement, sentiment, and growth metrics.
- Recommend improvements to enhance community experience and brand loyalty.
Brand Advocacy
- Build and maintain relationships with key community members and brand advocates.
- Develop ambassador or loyalty programs to strengthen long-term engagement.
- Represent the brand authentically and consistently across all community touchpoints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in community management, social media, or customer engagement.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with community management tools (e.g., Clevertap+, Shopify, Slack, Facebook Groups).
- Creative, proactive, and passionate about engaging with people.
