Position: Commis 2/3
Location: Sunway Velocity
Role Overview:
As a Commis 2, you will work under the supervision of senior chefs to prepare ingredients, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team and ensuring food is prepared according to quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed by the Chef de Partie or Senior Chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage procedures.
- Follow food hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Support the kitchen team in other duties when required.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of relevant kitchen experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, knife handling, and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
