We are looking for a Civil and Structural Engineer II to join our growing solar engineering team. The role involves delivering detailed civil and structural design solutions for both utility-scale solar farms and commercial & industrial (C&I) rooftop or ground-mounted systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on design experience, technical competence, and a collaborative mindset to support project execution from concept to construction.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Documentation
- Prepare structural calculations, foundation designs, and layout drawings for PV mounting structures, inverter platforms, fencing, drainage, roads, and cable trenches.
- Support 3D modeling and drawing development in coordination with the drafting team.
- Contribute to design reports, technical proposals, and engineering specifications in compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with PV design engineers and Project Engineers to ensure integration of civil/structural elements in overall design.
- Participate in design review meetings and provide technical inputs to support internal teams and external stakeholders.
3. Review and Quality Checks
- Conduct self-checks and peer reviews of drawings, calculations, and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review subcontractor/shop drawings and material submissions with guidance from senior engineers.
4. Regulatory and Code Compliance
- Ensure designs meet relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocode, MS EN, UBC, CIDB, DOSH requirements).
- Prepare documentation required for local authority submissions and liaise with consultants if necessary.
5. Site and Construction Support
- Provide support during construction phases, including responding to RFIs, conducting site visits, and verifying compliance with civil/structural design intent.
