- Material Preparation: Cleaning, polishing, and preparing metal surfaces for plating.
- Equipment Operation: Setting up, calibrating, and operating plating machines, including those for electroplating and other coating methods.
- Process Monitoring: Adjusting machine settings, monitoring coating thickness, and ensuring proper application of the plating material.
- Quality Control: Inspecting plated items for defects, uneven coverage, or other issues, and documenting findings.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance on plating equipment and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the plating process.
- Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and guidelines related to handling chemicals, operating machinery, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Added point: Competency person for waste water management.
