Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes consistently.
- Develop and standardize recipes and plating techniques.
- Ensure food is prepared according to menu specifications.
- Kitchen Operations:
- Manage kitchen inventory, stock levels, and ordering of ingredients.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen staff schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Team Supervision & Training:
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Train new kitchen staff on recipes, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Monitor performance and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all kitchen activities comply with food safety regulations (HACCP, Halal requirements, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor food storage and handling to prevent contamination.
- Menu Planning & Cost Control:
- Assist in menu development based on seasonal ingredients and customer demand.
- Monitor food cost and waste, ensuring profitability without compromising quality.
