Job Description:
- Maintenance and Upkeep. Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify issues related to structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, and other infrastructure.
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- System Monitoring. Monitor the performance and functionality of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements, upgrades, or replacements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Coordination. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to carry out repair and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance. Ensure all facilities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections.
- Energy Management. Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to reduce usage and costs.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and track their effectiveness.
- Emergency Response. Respond promptly to emergencies such as equipment failures or safety hazards.
- Coordinate swift and effective responses to minimize disruption and ensure safety.
Educational and Professional Requirements:
- Academic Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Certifications:
- Chargeman Certificate (Minimum A0 level).
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong character, calm and independent during perform daily task as schedule.
- MS Office and basic AutoCAD understanding. Willing to learn the internal development system.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with Building Maintenance, Facility Improvement and Energy Management tools is an advantage.
- With or Without experience are welcoming to apply.
- Willing to work in Melaka
